Dance FAqs

All NCD classes are held at St.Bernadette School, Walsingham Way, London Colney, AL2 1NL

Class fees must be paid by monthly instalments. We do not accept cash or cheques.  An automatic payment will be set up on registration. Payments will be deducted automatically on the 1st of each month over a 12 month period.

All of our classes are a minimum of 45 minutes or an hour. Our Elite classes are 90 minutes. 

We don’t offer sibling discounts but if you need assistance please get in touch. 

Our programs are ongoing from September – July. If you are registering mid-year you can begin right away! As soon as you have received your confirmation email you are free to start your class on the next appropriate day.

Uniform is an important part of class promoting pride, confidence and a feeling of belonging as well as creating the right mindset for class. You can find the information on the dance tab under your chosen genre. This will tell you exactly what to wear for that class and the link to purchase it from.

If your child is participating in private lessons you can make pre-arrangements with your child’s instructor to sit in on their lesson. Group classes have parent viewing week each year so that families can see what they are learning in class. Please note for pre-school parents,  our goal is to foster independence and confidence, preparing students for other independent activities so we encourage you not to watch class until watching week.

Yes you can withdraw your child from classes. All withdrawals must be done in writing with four weeks notice by sending an email to info@naomiczubadance.com 

If you decide to withdraw from NCD once show  rehearsals have started, any show fees paid will be non refundable. 

No refunds will be given for dance classes missed. NCD reserves the right to terminate lessons to any student without notice. In such a case a refund for unused lessons will be given.

Yes. Our Elite and Performance crews perform at various events , competitions and showcases throughout the year. The whole school has the opportunity to perform at our annual showcase.   Our annual show is the perfect event for you or your child to show family and friends the results of months of learning and practice. Our shows are all inclusive and designed to help performers build confidence, self-esteem, and performance skills as well as showcasing everything we do at NCD.  The annual show helps  students stay motivated, encouraged and interested in seeing their progress. 

The annual performance  is not compulsory. Students can opt out of participating but can still join in the class and learn all of their class pieces.   If your child does participate in the show then decides not to perform once rehearsals have started and costumes have been bought, any fees paid will be non refundable. 

Yes. As your child grows with us there are opportunities for them to join our Elite Crews. Our Elite crews are by invite only. Once your child is invited we expect them to attend 3 or more classes a week so they can perform on a regular basis as well as compete.
